Welcome to Silfver Teaching & Training, where classical horsemanship meets the art of classical dressage.
I’m Theresa Silfver, also known as Tessa, and I’ve been riding since I was three years old. There was a brief break from horses when our two daughters, Sofia and Sonja, were born. But when the girls were around 4-5 years old, we returned to riding together at a local riding school in Finland.
Two years later, we took the next step and bought our very first horse, a Finnhorse named Hiski. Hiski was gelded late and ex-trotter, very fast turned into a riding horse and he came directly from the riding school to us.
My Classical Dressage journey began with Hiski, and I’ve never looked back! In 2015, we started the Straightness Training Online course, followed by our first Ritter Dressage Online course in 2018. Since then, I’ve participated in numerous courses and gained invaluable knowledge along the way. I graduated as a Riding Instructor from the Equine Studies Institute in April 2023.
Through proper dressage training, it is possible to keep a horse in optimal condition. As a coach and trainer, my goal is to support your horse’s well-being while helping you enjoy their skills and progress.
